Murder Mystery Information
How it works:
Each package includes:
Extras (optional)
To get started, choose a storyline (We have two completed stories with additional storylines in progress).
Once you have selected a storyline, we will ask for you provide a list of your participants and their email addresses. This is only for collecting specific information needed to customize any props for their character (i.e. pics, ID badges, newspaper articles, etc). Any other communication with your guests should be done by you or the person designated as your host.
- There is no script. All dialogue is improvised. However, your package will include instructions on what each player should say, recommended attire, and how they should act during various parts of the evening. It is recommended (but not required) that you assign a party “host”, a non-participating person responsible for ensuring the players stay on track.
- Although you can host a murder mystery party without food, serving dinner is strongly recommended. If you serve food, we recommend that you either have it catered or arrange a potluck style dinner (unfortunately, we don't provide food services). Also, it’s important to choose a venue that can accommodate all of your guests. Your home is recommended, but other places (a private section of a restaurant, a hall, etc.) can also be used.
- Each game is set up to have a “mingling” period over dinner and then a period where the killer is revealed, based on clues and evidence provided throughout the evening.
- Each game can accommodate up to 20 people, though we recommend between 8 – 10 people for the best results.
- It is recommended (but not required) that you plan your event at least three weeks in advance.
- The price is $20 per character (with a 20 character max). We accept cash, check (made payable to Andre Louis), credit/debit card (with a 4% processing fee) or PayPal at andre.louis123@gmail.com
